Repeat after me:

My brain.

Is my bestie.

Do besties piss us off sometimes? DUH!

Do besties embarrass us? My circa-2008 Facebook albums can answer that one.

But besties also celebrate who we are ... not who we WISH we were.

And that?

Is the kind of friendship I know is possible between you and your ADHD brain.

Don't believe me yet?

Let me guess:

You finally made it to the post office.

But you don't feel relieved, let alone accomplished. You're just annoyed it took you this long when it was SO easy.

And you're already thinking about the next five tasks on your to-do list.

... also was it weird what you said at dinner last night?

Oh and you can't forget to ... Bayyyby Shark doo doo doo doo doo doo ...

Sound familiar? Here's what's actually happening:

ADHD isn't just about the executive functioning stuff.

It's about the shame we feel that keeps us from celebrating wins.

Which means? No dopamine hit from finishing tasks. Which means LESS motivation to start the next thing. Which means Mount Post-It-Note keeps getting taller.

And NO amount of timers, lists, or "just break it into smaller steps!" (thanks, Brenda ... 🙄) is going to fix that.

Because they're solving the wrong problem.

Your Inner Critic is running the show.

ADHD is real.

The time blindness is real. The impulsivity is real. The paralysis when it's time to start something? Real.

But none of that makes you unlovable. Society has just taken a while to catch up to the idea of different brains.

Which means?

Years of people sighing at you.

"You're so smart, why can't you just ..."

Being told over and over that you're too much but somehow also not enough.

That stuff lives in your nervous system long after the moment passes (I know, it's like why does my trauma have a better memory than I do?!)

And that's what chips away at your confidence, keeps you from working WITH your brain, and makes you feel like you have to make up for being different.

So it's not just executive dysfunction.

It's executive dysfunction plus a lifetime of feeling like you're a problem to solve.

And that Inner Critic?

The Mean Girl who's been deciding what you're capable of (and what that says about you) since third grade?

EFT tapping would like a word with her.

Real talk?

I've been tapping on my own ADHD stuff since before I even had a diagnosis. And what surprised me most?

Was that letting go of the shame didn't just make me feel lighter. Lowering the volume on my Inner Mean Girl gave me more wiggle room with my actual symptoms.

Don't get me wrong; I didn't become neurotypical or anything (OMG can you imagine?! 😬)

(JK a lot of my closest friends are neurotypical.)

But when I'm not spending half my energy fighting and hiding my ADHD, I can actually thrive with my brain ... not just in spite of it.

And that? Is why I built The Too Much Club.

EFT tapping is a quick, calming, empowering technique that you can use for basically anything.

And? It's not boring

(I'm looking at you, meditation ... 👀)

It's exactly what it sounds like: you use your fingers to tap on acupressure points on your face and body while you talk out loud about whatever is stressing you out.

Tapping rewires your nervous system to handle the tough stuff. And that feeling lingers even when you're not actively knocking on your collarbones about it.

In the Too Much Club videos, I give ADHD-specific examples of targeted tapping language so that you can follow along, feel the shift, and then adapt the wording for whatever life is throwing at you 🙃

Oh and btw ... if you've tapped before but it felt little too "Live, Laugh, Love" for you?

Hiiii I'm Lizzy, a witty former theatre kid and late-diagnosed AuDHD lovebug who knows how important it is for healing to be FUN.

So if you're ready for Spice Girls references, sassy callouts, and a healthy dose of cussing ...

... we need you in The Too Much Club!

You in?

What's inside?

Six pre-recorded tapping videos to shift your relationship to the toughest parts of ADHD, like:

🧊 Feeling like you can't start tasks

❤️‍🩹 Rejection sensitivity

🔄 Rumination

🪦 Returning to the graveyard of abandoned hobbies and habits (yes it is possible!)

😶 Impatience ... can everyone talk faster please?

... and more to come on money, communication, and time drama

You're in the right place if ...

✅ You have ADHD, whether it's diagnosed, suspected, or "I haven't been assessed because I don't have the executive function to get assessed"

✅ You've somehow always felt like you were too much but also not enough ... and you're ready to stop apologizing for it

✅ You've ever Googled "unhinged tips for productivity," "how to be less awkward," or "where can I donate gently-used craft supplies ... or gently-used fencing gear ... or gently used [insert hobby-of-the-month]?"

✅  You want to stop fighting with your brain and start being besties with it

If this sounds like you, you're just the right "Too Much" for us!

And btw if you're reading this like: "How is this bish in my head?!" ... it's because I've been through it too.

Hi, I'm Lizzy.

EFT tapping practitioner and late-diagnosed AuDHD lovebug.

I'm best known for relationship coaching, but turns out?

Managing my ADHD has been one of the most powerful things I've done for my relationship. Don't get me wrong: communication tools and attachment theory are great. But when I tapped on my ADHD stuff, I couldn't deny the glittery iridescent magic that rippled out to my partnership.

I leveled up my confidence to follow through on tasks. I got a better handle on my finances. I learned to hear my partner more deeply without crumbling from rejection sensitivity.

What I realized?

Was that working on my ADHD wasn't separate from working on my relationship. It was the piece I didn't realize was missing from understanding myself and how I show up for the people I love (including myself!)

I didn't build The Too Much Club because I had it all figured out. I built it because I wanted more people to know how tapping gets right at the root of ADHD.

And that there's sometimes more wiggle room than it seems, once that Inner Critic has left the chat 😉

Real talk?

The world NEEDS your ideas, your spunk, and your tangents. And you have the power, literally at your fingertips, to show up in all your "Too Much" glory.
